I think that qualifies as mental cruelty.

If that's not a stress test in and of itself I don't know what is. Hope it all works out well.

Bob- don't try to set any record on the treadmill part- the version I've done twice they inject radioactive stuff IV(actually IA-intra-arterial) when you tell them you think you only have about one minute left in your reserve. It really isn't bad- I found it an interesting challenge and they were a bit dismayed at my stamina because I'm still stupid enough to be a heavy smoker. Maybe they will do a color ultrasound. It is really neat- the heart functions are programmed in different colors and you can see the heart working away in all of its glory, even valve leakage(of course it is better if there is none of that to see).

Now, if you don't have insurance, just ask to run around the block and if you don't collapse, call it good. Hidden in the humor here is my prayer for your successful recovery from all of this.MT

Cameron, I just think that the doctors don't relize the extra stress that they create by postponing surgery over and over.

Well, I can only imagine. I was so anxious to get into surgery, had it been
delayed I would have freaked.

Bob sorry to hear that.   What a downer -- getting mentally prepared for the event only to have your worry extended.

Sincere best wishes towards a successful surgery and quick recovery.
